Born in Leeds
Student at the Regional College of Art Bradford and Goldsmiths College.

Taught in the Fine Art Departments of Lancaster and Portsmouth Colleges of Art, Portsmouth Ploytechnic,
followed by the Royal College of Art, Department of Ceramics and Glass becoming Professor,
with a period as Wedgwood Group Design Director, then Pro-Rector.

Member of the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS)
