A view from the Trundle which is an Iron Age hill adjacent to Goodwood Racecourse. It is probably the highest point for miles around and the views from here have been the subjsct of several paintings, some large and some, like this one, very small.
It may be water in the middle distance but more likely to be mist. Probably a winter afternoon judging by the sky.
